Engineering and construction companies suffer from quality issues and relatively low productivity. They can do much better & so can ABA Group. So we now have a new strategy.
Ahmad Diab, CEO of ABA Group
As the industry shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic, it gave ABA Group a much needed opportunity to review our internal processes. This retrospective view provided a refreshing view of areas that can always be improved on as a Developer and Investment firm who is dedicated to delivering excellence.
We have the opportunity to address many areas of the operating model that can be challenging for any Developer of any size. These include:
- Shortfalls in Accountability
- Talent Management & Resourcing
- Innovation in Technology
- Fragmented Value-Chains
By taking a moment to review on the above challenges we were proud to pull together an evolution in our operating model, this evolution addresses some of these challenges and allows us to articulate a clear set of values and targets. I'm sure some of you reading this may say, "well that seems quite obvious", however let me tell you that find the solutions to these can be difficult to baseline and therefore make it difficult to enact measurable criteria that ABA Group can use to ensure we are always operating at our best, while identifying areas of improvement as we go.
So what have we done? Again, the answer might seem quite simple and obvious, but the outcomes that we have been able to derive from our new focus are already showing their fruits. Essentially, ABA Group will ensure that we create a culture of measurement and precision. Successful operations promote this mind-set—and ensure that they and their employees have the same goals. At ABA we will also ensure our employees and workforce understand our goals and new metrics for measuring our performance.
I am so thrilled to be giving you this update, and hope that our customers will soon see the value of this in our next engagement.
Ahmad Diab.
CEO, ABA Group.
